They are based on the IP55 protection class compliant by EN 60529 and are thus protected against water and dust penetration.Best performance is offered by the wall-mounted enclosures, among others, by the 3-point locking system with lockable swivel lever handle and insulated cable entries. Integrated ventilation filter housings provide fresh air intake (protection against water and dust penetration according to IP54). Applications include outdoor areas exposed to environmental effects (rain, dust, hail, snow, splashing water). The wall-mounted enclosures can be used with a base as a free-standing solution (the rear mounting holes are closed with plugs, which are removed from the bottom of the enclosure when installing the base).
